Geographical Areas of work

The principal is currently based in Sheffield UK but prepared to travel if the circumstances demand. In addition we have access to a network of colleagues with good English/Russian language skills and a variety of specialisms.

Nature of work

All types of Russian/English translation/interpreting work will be considered. If we can help we will respond appropriately, if not we will endeavour to suggest alternatives.

Fees

This service is primarily aimed at larger bodies such as Corporates and Public Sector bodies requiring fast turnaround and the high standard of work that justifies the involvement of highly qualified and experienced translators.
Each proposal will be reviewed and a fee set to reflect the amount of work, the difficulty and anticipated expenses.

In addition smaller projects, individual documents and letters for smaller companies or private individuals will be considered subject to availability.
For straightforward non-urgent translations fees start from as little as 5 Euros per hundred words. In addition there is a service charge of 5 EUR per commission with a minimum charge for small documents (i.e. under 500 words) of 30 EUR (approx £20).

Terms

We will normally require a fee on commencement of the work, interim stage payments monthly (if appropriate) and the balance on completion.
For small tasks the initial fee is approximately 50% of the estimated final fee and the balance is due immediately following delivery.
Document translation is charged per 100 words or part thereof. The 100 word calculation is based on the larger of the original or translated versions of the document.
